Gena's Favorites
We've known Gena for quite some time now, but we wanted to learn more about her. The lovely and beautiful mom of her two year old son, active member of her community and a big fashion lover - like us!
We chatted while attending the local flea market and grabbing some coffee down the street.

"I pull a lot more for comfort myself. I also feel inspired by children's clothes, especially vintage clothes and how I dress my son, in a playful way. Making sure that I can do the full day in my outfit. I'm definitely reaching for more practical pieces."
"We keep it pretty simple and local to Ventura. We like outdoor activities so like the beach, park, hiking, etc. Since my husband works from home we are all home a lot together , which can be good and bad depending on the day our son is having. I do appreciate the extra set of hands."
"I don't have any childcare regularly, but I do go to the YMCA. Which I feel like is such a hack in motherhood and getting time for myself. I take dance classes and they offer free childcare for 2 hours. The sense of community is so strong and beautiful, seeing all the women come together and have fun. I started going every Friday around 6 months ago.”

"Becoming a mom has been my greatest transformation in life. I feel more connected to everything, to myself, to this extension of myself in my son, to other women, and so much more.
These little people we raise are truly life condensed, the beautiful and the challenging parts alike, but it forces a presence that can’t be replicated. I'm so grateful for the experience."
